I’m Laura (you probably have guessed that already), and I formed Ceremonies by Laura in 2024 after 22 years working in all things ‘people’.

I am an Independent Civil Celebrant, fully insured, and I completed my Celebrant training with the International College of Professional Celebrants. I currently live in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and cater for Ceremonies right across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

I am originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland and I live with my partner and our very lively cocker spaniel – Niamh.

When I’m not creating ceremonies I spend my spare time mainly outdoors (having a working cocker means that you get 10,000 steps in before breakfast), walking, running or hiking. I also enjoy the Theatre and travel all over the country to see my favourite shows!
